Move-In Procedures
We're thrilled to welcome you to your new home! To ensure a hassle-free move-in experience, we've outlined a step-by-step guide to streamline the process. Take a look at the sections below to learn more about your move-in times, where to pick up keys, what you need to complete ahead of time to qualify for Fast Pass Move-In, and more.
What To Expect Move-in Day
Our property has three move-in days –
1. If your contract begins on 08/16/2024, the earliest your apartment will be available for move-in is 08/16/2024.
2. If your contract begins on 08/17/2024, the earliest your apartment will be available for move-in is 08/17/2024.
3. If your contract begins on 08/18/2024, the earliest your apartment will be available for move-in is 08/18/2024.
Please arrive at the location shown on the move in map below no earlier than 8:30 AM. When you arrive, please park in the parking deck next door, unless you pay for our parking deck – then you may park in the Legacy’s parking deck.

Welcome to your move-in day! To ensure a smooth arrival process, please follow the steps shown on the map below. Our move-in map will guide you to the right place for your move-in. Simply follow the designated route and signage to reach your destination. If you have any questions or need assistance along the way, our friendly staff will be available to help.
- Join the Check-In Drive Line by entering Cone Street from the intersection of Cone Street x Carnegie Way. Vehicles will only be allowed to enter the Move-In Check-In line from this direction on move-in day.
- Our team will get your ID and begin checking you in while you are in your car waiting in the queue.
- Once the Move-In Checklist is verified as complete, we will issue you your keys and unload your belongings in carts that will be taken directly to your bedroom by movers.
- Your vehicle will be unloaded by movers in the unloading lane. You will need to escort our team and your belongings to your room. It is very important to note that you will not be able to park your car in the unloading lane, someone must park your car for you. If you arrive alone, you will not be able to utilize the unloading lane or movers.
- If your Move-In Checklist is not completed before you enter the queue of cars, you will be given the required links to complete your checklist and asked to rejoin the move-in lane after you’ve completed your steps.
Fast-Pass Move-In Checklist
We offer Fast Pass move-in options for your convenience. In order to qualify for this option, be sure you've completed all the items listed in the drop downs shown here, including any move in check list items shown in the ResidentPortal. Please note, failure to complete these items ahead of time may result in longer wait times during key pickup. Let's make your move-in process swift and seamless!
Checklist
On move-in day, we will verify that the full month’s installment, fees, and any outstanding paperwork are complete before giving out keys. Please note that we only accept certified checks; cash and money orders will not be accepted. If you choose to pay online before your arrival, please ensure to bring a copy of the online confirmation. Your first month’s installment is due no later than We will only accept in person certified funds past this date.. It’s crucial to ensure all fees and your first month’s installment are paid on time to secure your unit and prepare for move-in day.

As a condition of the Housing Contract, residents are required to carry liability insurance. To satisfy this requirement you have two options - purchase liability insurance and provide proof of coverage to the leasing office or do nothing. If no action is taken, you will be automatically enrolled in the Landlord Liability Protection Program. Please see attached flyer for more detail.

Our property is proud to be pet friendly! Whether or not you are bringing a pet, all residents are required to register with PetScreening even if you do not have a pet. Please click the link below to read more and complete your pet screening application.

Utility accounts are already established in Landlords name for your unit. Make sure you have created your ResidentPortal. Go paperless and go green! Providing your email address will allow you to receive a copy of your bill electronically each month. Statements sent to your email will contain a link that will automatically direct you to ResidentPortal where you can pay your bill.
